This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information in the “Piano Fingering” service.

1. Information We Collect

• Account: email address; password is stored as a hash
• Billing: processed by Stripe (we do not store card numbers)
• Usage logs: IP address, User-Agent, access time, monthly use counts
• Files: uploaded PDF scores and processed PDFs (temporarily stored for processing)

2. Purpose of Use

• To provide the Service, authentication, billing, abuse prevention
• Statistics and troubleshooting for stable operation
• Compliance with laws and responses to inquiries

3. Retention

• Uploaded PDFs and processed PDFs: deleted in principle within 24 hours (except when needed for incident investigation)
• Access logs: up to 90 days for security
• Billing records: retained for the statutory period

4. Third-party Processors / Overseas Transfer

We use Stripe for payment processing and may use cloud providers necessary for operation. Data may be processed outside your country. We select vendors that implement appropriate safeguards.

5. Security

We use TLS encryption, access-control on a need-to-know basis, and log audit.

6. Your Rights

You may request disclosure, correction, or deletion of your personal data within a reasonable scope. Contact us at the email below.

7. Cookies / External Transmission

We may send technical information (e.g., IP/UA, session cookies, payment events) to trusted third parties (e.g., Stripe) for payment and fraud prevention. See our External Transmission Notice if provided.
